Our season generally runs October through April/May. Rainbow trout are most active in rivers during spring (October–mid-December), migratory brown trout enter the rivers from late February through May, and King Salmon are fishable from November through March.

Lodging, meals, guided fishing, and ground transfers from Balmaceda Airport are included in every booking. Helicopter transfers to River of Dreams Basecamp and Baker Lodge are available on request.

Magic Waters Patagonia Lodge is an intimate, family-run property. River of Dreams Basecamp is limited to just six guests. Patagonia Baker Lodge accommodates up to twelve.
Yes. Beyond fishing, our lodges offer rafting, horseback riding, hiking, hot tubs, boat tours to glaciers and the Marble Caves, and scenic flights — plenty for guests who split their time on and off the water.
Layered clothing for variable Patagonian weather, wading gear, and sun protection are recommended. We are happy to send a detailed packing list once your trip is confirmed.
Magic Waters Lodge and Baker Lodge offer Wi-Fi in common areas. River of Dreams Basecamp is intentionally off-grid, part of its remote, unpressured character.
